Colorful and fun fruit kabobs with a creamy yogurt dip that come together in under 20 minutes. Perfect for parties, snacks, or a healthy dessert that looks impressive with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup cantaloupe, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 cup pineapple, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 34 kiwis, peeled and sliced into thick rounds
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 810 wooden skewers (810 inches long)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 23 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Zest of ½ lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for 10-15 minutes to prevent splintering (optional but recommended).
  2. Wash and thoroughly dry all fruit. Wet fruit makes skewers slippery and dip watery.
  3. Hull strawberries and cut in half or quarters. Cut cantaloupe and pineapple into 1-inch cubes. Peel kiwi and slice into ½-inch thick rounds. Leave blueberries whole.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and lemon zest until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. Thread fruit onto skewers in a rainbow pattern: strawberry (red), cantaloupe (orange), pineapple (yellow), kiwi (green), blueberry (blue/purple). Repeat pattern, leaving about 1 inch at the bottom for handling. Aim for 5-6 pieces per skewer.
  6. Place small bowl of yogurt dip in center of serving platter. Fan kabobs around it like spokes on a wheel.
  7. Refrigerate platter for 15-20 minutes before serving to firm up fruit and enhance flavors.

Notes

For best results, cut fruit uniformly and keep everything cold. The yogurt dip can be made a day ahead. For dairy-free option, use coconut yogurt and maple syrup. Fruit can be varied based on season—mango, raspberries, and grapes work well. Leftover kabobs and dip should be stored separately in the refrigerator; kabobs keep up to 24 hours, dip keeps 3-4 days.
