A quick and easy refreshing drink made with fresh peaches, lemons, and water, with no added sugar. Perfect for summer gatherings and a healthy, guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium-sized ripe peaches, peeled and pitted
  • 3 large lemons, juiced (about 6 tablespoons / 90 ml lemon juice)
  • 4 cups (1 liter) cold filtered water
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel about 3 medium ripe peaches (around 1 pound or 450 grams). Remove the pits and roughly chop the fruit into chunks.
  2. Roll the lemons on the counter to loosen the juice, then cut and extract juice from 3 large lemons (approximately 6 tablespoons / 90 ml). Use a citrus juicer or squeeze by hand carefully to avoid seeds.
  3. Place peach chunks in your blender and add 1 cup (240 ml) of cold water. Blend on high until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the peach puree into a large pitcher. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and the remaining 3 cups (720 ml) of cold water. Stir gently to combine. Taste and adjust by adding more water or a splash of natural sweetener like stevia if desired (optional).
  5. Add ice cubes to the pitcher or directly into glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Stir before serving if peaches settle.

Notes

Do not over-blend the peaches to maintain a slightly pulpy texture. For a smoother drink, strain the mixture before adding lemon juice and water. Use ripe peaches for best sweetness. Adjust lemon juice to taste to avoid overpowering the peach flavor. Serve chilled over ice. Frozen peaches can be used if fresh are unavailable.
