Quick and wholesome no-bake energy balls made with peanut butter, oats, and honey, perfect for a healthy snack on the go.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups (135 grams) rolled oats
  • ¾ cup (190 grams) natural peanut butter
  • ¼ cup (85 grams) honey
  • 2 tablespoons (14 grams) ground flaxseed (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (90 grams) mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, stir together ¾ cup (190 g) of natural peanut butter and ¼ cup (85 g) of honey until smooth and creamy. Warm slightly if mixture is too stiff.
  2. Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  3. Gradually fold in 1 ½ cups (135 g) of rolled oats and 2 tablespoons (14 g) of ground flaxseed until evenly combined.
  4. Gently add ½ cup (90 g) of mini chocolate chips, distributing evenly.
  5. Roll the mixture into 1-inch (2.5 cm) balls, about 18-20 balls. Wet hands or chill dough if sticky.
  6. Place balls on parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week or freeze for up to 3 months.

Notes

Use natural peanut butter with no added sugar for best flavor. Chill balls to prevent crumbling. For smoother texture, pulse peanut butter and honey in a food processor before mixing. Adjust moisture with water or almond milk if mixture is too dry. Customize with add-ins like chia seeds, shredded coconut, or protein powder.
