A stress-free, abundant charcuterie board perfect for holiday gatherings. This recipe comes together in 15 minutes with simple, store-bought ingredients and is designed to feed a crowd of 20.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar, sliced or cubed
  • 8 oz aged gouda, sliced
  • 4 oz soft goat cheese log
  • 8 oz brie wheel
  • 4 oz prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 6 oz salami (Genoa style), sliced
  • 4 oz pepperoni, sliced
  • 1 box water crackers
  • 1 baguette, sliced and toasted
  • 1 bag pretzel crisps
  • 1 bunch red grapes
  • 1 cup dried apricots
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for decoration
  • 1 small jar cornichons
  • 1 small jar fig jam
  • Honey for drizzling
  • 1 cup roasted and salted almonds
  • A few squares dark chocolate, broken up

Instructions

  1. Place small bowls for fig jam, honey, and cornichons on the board in a triangle pattern to set anchor points.
  2. Add cheeses around the board, spacing them out. Place brie near center, cheddar cubes in one cluster, goat cheese log on opposite side. Slice a few pieces of each cheese.
  3. Layer in meats: fold prosciutto into loose ribbons and pile; overlap salami slices in a line; scatter pepperoni. Let meat drape over cheese or crackers.
  4. Fill gaps with crackers and bread, creating ‘cracker nests’ around cheese. Place water crackers in one spot, pretzel crisps in another.
  5. Scatter red grapes in small clusters (leave on stem). Add dried apricots near sharp cheddar. Tuck rosemary sprigs between items.
  6. Sprinkle almonds in remaining empty spaces. Break dark chocolate into pieces and scatter. Place cornichons in their bowl or directly on board.
  7. Right before serving, drizzle honey over goat cheese log.

Notes

Take cheese out of fridge 30 minutes before assembling for best flavor. Don’t overthink arrangement; food is naturally beautiful. Use a variety of textures (crunchy, creamy, chewy, juicy) and colors (red grapes, green rosemary, orange apricots) for visual appeal. Prep all ingredients before starting assembly.
