This creamy copycat pumpkin cream cold foam latte is a quick and easy fall drink made with simple ingredients. It’s a delicious and customizable alternative to expensive coffee shop versions, ready in just 5 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree (100% pure, not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee or 2 shots espresso
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice (oat milk or whole milk recommended)
  • Ice cubes (for iced version)

Instructions

  1. Brew your coffee or espresso. For an iced latte, brew it about 1.5 times stronger than usual and set aside to cool.
  2. In a small bowl or blender cup, combine 2 tablespoons heavy cream, 2 tablespoons whole milk, 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree, 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup, 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and 1 teaspoon granulated sugar. Stir briefly to break up the pumpkin puree.
  3. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until the mixture doubles in volume and becomes thick and creamy, like a thick milkshake. If using a milk frother, froth for 45 seconds to 1 minute.
  4. For an iced latte: Fill a glass with ice cubes, pour the cooled coffee over the ice, and add 1/2 cup of milk. Stir gently. For a hot latte: Pour hot coffee into a mug and add warm milk, stirring to combine.
  5. Using a spoon, gently scoop the pumpkin cream foam on top of the latte to maintain the layered effect. Optionally, drizzle extra vanilla syrup and sprinkle a pinch of pumpkin pie spice on top.
  6. Enjoy immediately while the foam is cold and thick.

Notes

Don’t over-blend the foam (30 seconds is ideal) or it may separate. Ensure pumpkin puree is well incorporated to avoid clumps. For hot lattes, let coffee cool slightly before adding cold foam to prevent melting. The foam does not store well; make fresh for each serving. For dairy-free, substitute heavy cream with full-fat coconut cream and whole milk with oat milk.
