A quick and easy wrap combining crispy bacon, creamy avocado, and savory turkey in a toasted flour tortilla. Perfect for a satisfying lunch or casual dinner with a balance of textures and flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch size)
  • 6 oz cooked turkey breast slices (deli-sliced or leftover roasted turkey)
  • 4 strips crispy bacon, cooked
  • 1 medium ripe avocado, sliced or mashed
  • Fresh lettuce leaves (romaine or butter lettuce)
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (full-fat or light)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: cheddar or Swiss cheese slices
  • Optional: pickles or pickle slices
  • Optional: hot sauce or chipotle mayo

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 4-6 minutes, flipping occasionally until crispy. Drain on paper towels and save some bacon fat for toasting the wrap if desired.
  2. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and freshly ground black pepper until smooth to make the spread.
  3. Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out slices or mash gently. Slice the tomato thinly. Tear or slice lettuce leaves into manageable pieces.
  4. Warm the tortillas in the skillet over medium-low heat for about 20 seconds on each side until pliable and slightly warm. Optionally brush with reserved bacon fat for extra flavor.
  5. Lay a warm tortilla flat and spread a generous layer of the mayo-mustard mix evenly over the surface. Add lettuce leaves first, then layer turkey slices, tomato slices, crispy bacon, and avocado. Add cheese or pickles if using.
  6. Fold the bottom edge of the tortilla up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to enclose everything.
  7. Return the wrapped tortilla to the skillet and toast for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown and slightly crisp.
  8. Remove from heat, slice diagonally with a sharp knife, and serve immediately. Let the wrap rest for a minute before cutting to prevent falling apart.

Notes

Use ripe but firm avocados to avoid sogginess. Cook bacon over medium heat for perfect crispiness without burning. Warm tortillas before assembling to prevent tearing. Toast the wrap with a little bacon fat for extra flavor and crunch. For gluten-free, use corn or gluten-free wraps. For dairy-free, omit cheese or use plant-based alternatives. Assemble and toast wraps just before eating to keep them crisp.
