This creamy, fizzy, and slightly tart Halloween punch is the perfect centerpiece for any spooky gathering. It’s ridiculously easy to throw together with simple ingredients, bringing back the cozy, spooky feeling of a perfect Halloween evening.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (64-ounce) bottle of chilled ginger ale
  • 1 (46-ounce) can of chilled pineapple juice
  • 1 (12-ounce) can of frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1 (12-ounce) can of frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 1 (1.75-quart) container of orange sherbet
  • 1 (1.75-quart) container of rainbow sherbet (or raspberry)
  • 1 cup of frozen raspberries or blackberries (optional)
  • 1 cup of green or purple grapes, frozen (optional)
  • 12 cups of dry ice (optional, handle with care)
  • Gummy worms or plastic spider rings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill everything: At least 2 hours before serving, refrigerate the ginger ale, pineapple juice, and thawed juice concentrates. Also chill the punch bowl for 30 minutes.
  2. Mix the juice base: In the chilled punch bowl, combine the chilled ginger ale, pineapple juice, and thawed orange juice and lemonade concentrates. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Add the sherbet: Using an ice cream scoop, add large scoops of orange and rainbow sherbet to the punch bowl, alternating colors for a marbled effect.
  4. Add the spooky garnishes: Drop in the frozen raspberries or blackberries and frozen grapes. Add gummy worms or plastic spider rings if desired.
  5. Add dry ice (optional): Using tongs, add a small piece (about the size of a golf ball) of dry ice to the punch bowl for a smoky effect. Never touch dry ice with bare hands.
  6. Serve immediately: Ladle the punch into cups, making sure to include some sherbet and garnishes in each serving.

Notes

Chill all ingredients thoroughly to prevent the sherbet from melting too quickly. For a boozy version, replace half the ginger ale with prosecco or light rum. The punch does not store well once sherbet is added; leftovers can be strained and refrigerated for up to 2 days. Dry ice must be handled with care—never touch with bare hands and do not consume.
